![]() In 1997, Leto starred in the biopic Prefontaine in which he played the role of Olympic hopeful Steve Prefontaine. He later co-starred with Christina Ricci in The Last of the High Kings (1996) and received a supporting role in Switchback (1997). Leto's first film role was in the 1995 drama How to Make an American Quilt. The same year, he made his television film debut starring alongside Alicia Silverstone in Cool and the Crazy. The show was praised for its portrayal of adolescence and gained a cult following, despite being canceled after only one season. He achieved recognition in 1994 for his role as Jordan Catalano in the teen drama television series My So-Called Life. He made his debut with minor roles in the television shows Camp Wilder (1992) and Almost Home (1993). I really hope they lean on the lore established in Control.Jared Leto is an American entertainer with an extensive career in film, music, and television. ![]() I have a sneaking suspicion that this story could ultimately go in some utterly insane directions. Who has the ability to create AWEs at will? Alan Wake. Altered Materials are the remnants left behind after an AWE. Control also reveals that Altered items can be created by infusing ordinary items with Altered material. Lastly, we know that there's a mysterious "Blessed" Organization that has the ability to create altered items. Maybe Alan's problem was that he was trying escape back into reality via bright falls when he should find a way in to the astral plane and exit via the oldest house? My extreme curiosity is if somehow, through the course of the game, Alan escapes the darkness, but not into bright falls, but into the Oldest House? We know that the Oldest House is basically Yggdrasil, and can connect all planes of reality. We know he got the idea for all of this from his previous fiction for the Federal Bureau of Night Springs. My theory there is that Alan's writing was the conduit through which the Hiss broke in to the hand slide and ultimately infected Director Trench. We also learn that part of his new story was writing the events of the AWE DLC of Control, which possibly reveals that he somewhat orchestrated the events of Control via a story. We also know that he has to wipe his own memory in order for the events to play out as he wrote. We know so far that every escape story Alan has written has failed for one reason or another. ![]() Alan Wake might be the catalyst for that to happen. I'm curious as to who that can be? There is the swerve that Alan Wake and Control are hinting at being analgous to the story of Ragnarök. ![]() The interesting thing though is that there's a potential caveat that the Darkness won't let whoever's trappe din the lake go unless they are exchanged with someone else it wants. Jesse's events in the FBC ultimately inspire Alan to finally write the correct story for his escape. We learn from Control that the increase in AWEs are likely due to Alan Wake trying to write his own escape. If the rumors about the lake actually accessing the dark portion of the Astral plane are true, then the Former might make an appearance.maybe? Alan has likely been trapped in the Darkness for over 20 years. I would love for Jesse Faiden to make a cameo, but I can definitely understand Remedy wanting the story to remain more personal. I'm guessing this will take place 10 years after control, based off the AWE transmission the FBC receives.
